Who, What, Why?!

The goal of creating Lesure Rides events is to create community with everyone who loves riding a bike while giving back to the communities where we enjoy riding them.

Whether you’re training for a race, aspiring to enter your first event, looking for a supported ride in an amazing environment, or just like to ride bikes with friends old and new, join us for some Leisure Rides!

With over 25 years of experience creating, directing, and sponsoring several of the largest bike and snow events at some of the largest mountain resorts in the west to growing one of the largest craft breweries in the US as an active, outdoor brand, I’ve always enjoyed curating unique and memorable experiences that are focused on fun and giving back to local communities.

From working with Gerry Lopez to create an event that blends the worlds of surf and snow with the spirit of aloha and raising money for worthy causes since 2011 or introducing new community focused bike events, I’ve always felt there was something magical that happens when like-minded people gather for a fun event while giving back to a local cause. It’s this foundation and experience that’s driven me to create an event series focused on having fun on bikes and doing good.

Leisure Rides will focus on working with local bike organizations and collaborate with a variety of purveyors to get the full local flavor and experience, including but not limited to; local bands, bakeries, coffee, breweries, wine, cider, kombucha, restaurants, and yoga instructors, all while giving back a minimum of 10% of proceeds to local non-profit trail and bike affiliated organizations.

See you on the trails!
